I can't really say Jon Richardson has ever really prominently featured on my radar. I knew who he was, but as I never watch 8 Out Of 10 Cats - due to an intense aversion that is bordering on an allergic reaction to the odious Jimmy Carr - he sort of passed me by and I had filed him away as a Reece Shearsmith lookie and soundie-likie and one of those occasionally amusing but harmless geeky comics like Dave Gorman. It was only his pairing with fellow panel show comic the great Sean Lock for the Channel 4 fish out.
